Digital Financial Platform for Financial Consulting
Comparison of financial products and calculation of contract returns
The Initial Situation
Confidato, a provider of fee-based consulting for investments, finance, and insurance, needed a digital platform to optimize the consulting process and provide both advisors and clients with better overview and control. The goal was to digitize consulting and make the management of contracts and investments more efficient.
The main goal of the project was to develop a tool that digitally records the consulting and provides the client with a clear dashboard. This tool should allow the entry of the client's existing contracts and investments into the system, analyze and compare them to help the advisor give optimal recommendations. Additionally, the tool should allow comprehensive documentation of all appointments and conversations.
Implementation
Data Collection and Analysis
The first functionality of the tool was the ability to capture the client's existing contracts and investments in the system. Based on the fund data and contract costs, these contracts were projected to provide an accurate forecast of their performance.
Comparison and Assessment Creation
The tool showed the advisor similar contracts with potentially better performance. This allowed a direct comparison of the existing contracts with possible alternatives. The advisor could then create an assessment that highlighted all potential improvements and detailed which contracts were unfavorable for the client.
Integration of a Financial Data Interface
A central component of the tool was the integration of a financial data interface. By using historical data, the expected returns of the contracts could be calculated. The advisor could specify whether to calculate pessimistically, optimistically, or neutrally to simulate different scenarios.
Creation of Interactive Graphics and Diagrams
To visually represent costs, returns, pension gap, and contract comparison, we developed interactive graphics and diagrams. These visualizations were intended to increase the client's understanding and make complex financial contexts understandable at a glance.
Client Dashboard
After the assessment was created, the client had access to a clear dashboard that displayed and analyzed all their contracts, funds, and stocks. This overview enabled the client to understand their financial situation at a glance and make informed decisions.
The Solution
The introduction of the financial platform led to a significant improvement in efficiency and transparency in the consulting process. Both advisors and clients benefited from the structured and digital capture of all relevant data.
By being able to analyze and compare contracts accurately, the quality of the consulting was significantly increased. Clients received clear recommendations and detailed assessments that helped them optimize their financial decisions.
